Also upon reading the humble Petition of Richard Hodgson< no role >
Setting
forth that the Petr was informed that one of the horses in holborne
belonging to this hospital late held by Mr. Higgins was to be Sett and
that ye. Petr. was desirous to be become a Tenant thereof but that ye same
is out of repair and that ye Petr. is willing when put into
Tenantable Repair to take a Lease thereof and to pay the yearly
Rent of £2And praying that ye said house might by putt into
repair and that the Governors would grant him a Lease thereof for 11
years at the yearly Rent of £2. with the usual CovenantsIt
is Ordered that the Consideration of the said Petition be Referred to
the Comed of this house who are desired to Report their opinion
therein to this Court.

late held by Mr Higgins deced belonging
to this hospital is now untenanted and as the Petr is in formed to be lett
by Lease to Such person & for such number of years & at such rent as to
the Governors should seem meetand that the Petr. is willing to become
Lessee thereof for 21 years or such other Number of years as the Govrs. Shod.
think fitt at ye Rent ye same has been usually Lett. provided ye same by
putt into Repair in the particulars following (vizt) the Sash windows
mended, the Rooms white washed & painted and the whole putt into Such
Tenantable Repairs as usual on granting Leases& praying that
if the Governors think fitt to Lease ye same the Petr. (on ye Terms afores)
might become Tenant thereofIt is Ordered that the Consideration
of ye sd Petition be Referred to ye Comee of this house who are desired to
Report their opinion therein to this Court.

that the Clerk of this hospital do give & pay unto them forty Shillings a peice
to be allowed him in his next account

Upon reading the humble Petition of the three Baskettmen of ye Hospital
of Bethlem for their usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings a peice in respect of
the half year ending at Midsumr. last for that their Salaries are but small
It is ordered that ye Clerk of these hospitals do give & pay unto them Twenty
Shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next account.
