Upon reading the Humble Petition of Henry Brown< no role > Setting forth
that he had been bound Apprentice upwards of four years to Benjamin Thatcher< no role >
One of the Artsmasters of this Hospital but by reason of Ill usage he was
Obliged to Abscond from his said Master otherwise might have been in danger
if not Lost his life by the Violent blows received without any Just
Provocation and that Mr Wheeler the Surgeon of this Hospital and testify
the Bruises he had received & praying he may be turn'd over to Another
MasterThe said Mr Thatcher was call'd into Court & Acknowledged that
he had Given his Servant Correction for abusing his wife and Complaints
being made on both sidesIt is OrderedThat the said Henry Brown< no role >
have a Months time to get another Master
