Rent of Eight Pounds and to pay £10 fyne and to be obliged to Lay out Sixty
Pounds in one years time in repairing the Sheds and wharfe to the Sewer
Nathaniel Cutler< no role > of the parish of St. John Wapping proposed to
take a Lease for 51 years at £2 P Annum Rent and to pay £30 fyne
and to Lay out £300 on the premisses in Building and to leave the Building
to the hospital in Tenantable repair at ye expiration of his Lease
And being Severally called in agen Mr. Saunders offered to make his
fyne £20. and to reduce the Term to 21 yearsAnd Mr Cutler offered
to make her fyne £50And this Comee haveing considered the Same
are of Opinion to accept the proposals of the said William Saunders< no role > upon
which he gave halfe a Guiney to the poors Box all which nevertheless is
Submitted to the Judgment of ye CourtThis Court doth Confirm the
Said Report and Order that a Lease be made to him accordingly

Upon reading a Report from the Comee of this house under the hands
of John Taylor< no role > Esqr . Trear Mr William Lee< no role > Mr. Christr. Bateman< no role > John
Cottle
< no role > Esqr . and Marmaduke Alington< no role > Esqr . bearing date the 12th. day of
Decemr. Last in the words following viztMr. Jackson
of London Merchant haveing proposed to take a Lease of the first house in
Fowks Court in Tower Street Part of the possessions of Bethlem hospital
for the Term of Seven years to Comence from Xmas next at the yearly
Rent of thirty Six pounds with Such usual Covenants at are contained
in the Leases from the Governor s of the said hospital to their Tenants
excepting only that he shall not be obliged to rebuild or repair the
premisses in Case they Shall be burnt or damnified by fire [..]
[..] And the said house being already
insured from five fox the Benefitt of the hospital this Comee are of Opinion
to accept the said proposal upon which the said Mr. Jackson gave
three Guineas to the poors Box all which is nevertheless Submitted to the
Judgmt. of ye CourtThis Court doth Confirm the said Report and
Order that a Lease be made to him accordingly

Proposed to take a Lease if the Second house in Fowks Court in Tower Street
Part of the Possessions of Bethlem hospital for the term of Seven years to
Comence from Xmas next at the yearly Rent of Thirty Six Pounds wth. Such
usual Covenants as are contained in the Leases from the Governor s. of the said hospital
to their Tenants Excepting only that he shall not be obliged to rebuild or repair the prmes
in case they Shall be burnt or damnified by five And the sd house being already in sured from
fire for ye benefitt of ye hospital This Comee are of opinion to accept ye said proposal
upon which ye said Mr Lamego gave three Guineas to the poors Box All which is nevertheless
Submitted to ye Judgmt. of ye Court This Court doth Confirme ye said Report and
Order that a Lease be made to him accordingly
