25th March 1714.

papers and writeings unto good Order which were in great
Confusion and has Settled the accounts of the sd. hospitals &
brought them into a much better method than was formerly used
and has also above three yeares past reced the rents &
done other parts of ye business of the Steward of this hospital
and about two yeares ago attended a Comee into Kent to
view the hospitals Lands there And in Regard he has served
the sd hospitals were almost Seven yeares and never had
any gratuity It is the opinion of this Comee that
he be allowed the Sume of One hundred and fifty pounds as a
gratuity for his said Services which neverlesse is Submitted
to the Judgment of the CourtThis Court haveing duely
weighed and considered the sd. Report doth confirme the
Same And Order that the sd Joseph Taylor< no role > be allowed
in his next account One hundred and fifty pounds for his said Services
