Mr. Percivall Pott< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. for Mr. Garrett
proposed to take a Lease for 21 yeares from Lady day next att
£85. P Annm and to putt the same in repaire at his owne Charges

Or £105 P Annm it being putt into good repaire and to give serving
if requiredand then withdrew

And being called in again he proposed to give £90 P Annm &
repaire himselfe Or £110. P Annm the Governor s. allowing £200 to
putt it into repaireand withdrew

he afterwards desired to be called in a 3d time and then offered
£91 P Annm and repaire himselfe or £112. P Annm ye Governor s
allowing £.200 for repaires

Mr Nicholas Mockett< no role > by Letter proposed
to give £100. P Annm & no more and to Stand to thatching only wth.
would cost £5. a year

Mr John Curling< no role > (by Mr Wheatley) proposed to take
a Lease for Seven or Eleven yeares at £100 P Annm and to keep
the premisses in repaire the same being put first in good repaire at
the hospitals Charge which would Cost about £160.

And Mr Wheatley being called in again and asked if he would
make any further proposeal he answered noand withdrew

Mr. Stephen Evers< no role > by his Letters to Capt . Johes
Green
< no role > proposed to take a Lease for 15 yeares at £100. P Annm &
to find Straw for thatching and fetcth and carry materials for repaire
and maintaine the hedges Fences and Gates

Or to Stand to all repaires (fire and Stormes only excepted)
if the Governor s. would allow what the last Tenant had vizt £150
and Twenty Trees and Sixteen Pearches of Land to burne and wch
Bricks upon

Then the Comee proceeded to the consideracon of the sd. Severall
proposals and upon inspecting the last Lease made by he sd Mr John Parson< no role >
to Richard Taddy< no role > for 14 yeares which expired at Michas last it
appeared that Mr Parsons did allow £150 to be laid out upon ye
premes and thereby (as all the persons who had made proposeals did
agree) he raised the rent to £100 which before had been but £90. P
Annm And upon ye whole matter this Comee is of Opinion that the
last proposal made by the said Roger Taddy< no role > and James Taddy< no role > ye
present Tenant is ye most advantegeous to the hospital and the sd
Rogers Taddy< no role > being called in agen ye following agreement was made upon Condcon
the Court should approve thereof Vizt.
