Upon reading the humble Petition of John Seymour< no role > Setting forth
That on the 24th day of Octor. 1705 he was by Order of the Govrs. of
this hospital putt Apprentice to John Bennett< no role > Citzen and Clothworker of London One of the
artsmar s of this hospital wth whom he faithfully Served her Seven
yeares Apprenticeship which expired in Octor 1712 but her Indenture
of Apprenticeship being either lost on unslaid he could not apply to thos
Court in the usual manner for a Certificate on her Indenture in order
to be made a freeman of this Citty And praying Such Order for her freedom
as the Court Should think fitt and the Court being Satisfied of the hath
of her allegations It is Ordered That the Said John Seymour< no role >
be made free of their Citty.

The Clerke in pursuance of an Order of the Comee of this honss
dated the 23d. day of February instant laid before this Court the near
of [mark] several artsmars. of this hospital who refuse or neglect to come
with their Apprentices to the Chappel of this hospital on Sundays to
a Head Divine Service in contempt of Several Order of the Comee and of
thes Court vizt

June last to be putt Apprentices to one of the Arstmars ) being now at
the Hemp blocks by order of the Comee for his uns behaviour at
Chappel And it appearing that he was not equally culpable wth.
the other two Boyes who were Comitted to the blocks at the Same time
Now Upon the request of Nath Whittemore< no role > Weaver one of the artsmar s.
of this hospital with whom the sd Thomas handship had been for
Some tune upon likeing and who gave him a good Character It
is Ordered That the Said Thomas handship be discharged from
the Hompblocks.
