first years & Twenty Six pounds for ye Remainder of ye said
Terme This Court haveing duely weighed & considered the sd
Report doth Confirms the Same and Order that a Lease be
made into ye sd Stephen Scott< no role > accordingly

Also upon reading to this Court a Report bearing date ye 21st. day of Octor. 1711
under the hands of Sr John Cass< no role > Knt : & aldran Trear Mr Geo Ludlam< no role >
Mr Depty Wm. Phillips< no role > Mr Jos. Lawrence< no role > & Mr. Nathll.. Woolfreys< no role >
four of the Govrs . off these Hospitals Which Report is in the [..] words foll &that is to Say- In pursuance of in Order made at a Court holsen at
this hospital on ye 23d day of Novemr last whereby it was
referred to this Comee to consider of ye Petition of Thomas
Bugly Steward of this hospital Setting forth That by an Order
of Court made the 7th day of may 1647 the Steward of this
hospital was to be allowed after ye rate of five pence P dcem
for ye dyett of every Prisonr. kept in ye sd hospital a whole day
& Night together & to provide for them Such Dyett as in ye sd
Order & Petition or menconed That ye Petr. had been
Steward five yeares & upwards & had Supplyed ye Prisoners wth
ye Provisions according to ye Said Order but that for ye greates [..]
part of ye sd time provisions were much deares than formerly
P ticularly ye be of which was used to be bought for one
penny & three halfe pence p pound had Stood ye Petr in two
pence & threehalfepence and the Small Beer which at ye
time of makeing ye sd order & for maney yeares afterwds
way at 4s p Barrell had for ye most part Cost ye Petr.
7s. 6d So that he had been a great Looser by ye Dyott at
the price aforesd the as he conceived ye sd Order was
intended as a benefitt to ye Steward And praying Such a
consideracon for his loss for ye time past and Such allowance
for ye future as ye Court Should think fitt This Comee have
considered of ye Sd petition & are Satisfied that ye price of
provisions dureing ye time of ye Petrs being Steward
have been much greater than they were at ye time of
makeing ye sd Order for ye price of ye Dyett & for many
