for his Encouragemt. to build the same well and substantially wth the
like Covenants Condicons and Provisoes as were in his former Lease
with a further Covenant to pay for the sd 29 yeares so to be added to
his former Lease as above the addiconall rent of £6-10s P annm over
and above the said £3-10s:00d all ready reserved And not to Lett the
prmisses or any part thereof to a Tallow melter nor to a Read
stack or Bavin Stack unless Inclosed with Brickwall on penalty
of double his rent yearly And if any difference shall arise betweene
him and the other tenants, the same by his consent shall be determined
by the Governors or any twelve of them whereof the President or
Trear to be one and sealeing a Counterpart of the sd Lease with
bonds to performe Covenants Where with he being since made
acquainted thankfully accepted thereof And promised to build lease
do and performe the same accordingly And that his Undertaken by
if any shall have a proporconable allowance as he hath from ye
Governors And as an acknowledgement of this favour gave a
guynea to the Poors Box:

Also To this Court came Mr Justice Isaackson One other
of the Hosplls Tenants att Wapping who had eleaven houses burnt
downe in the sd late Fire And upon reading the Report of the said
Comittee wch. being made to the effect following Vizt That his lease
is dated the first of May 1694 for 21 years at £18 P annm to Comence
from Lady day then last past so there is 12 years to come That there
is £1070 Ensured will cost £1430 building over and above the said
Insurance Is willing to sett back three foot to make the street 20 foot
wide And the sd Mr Justice Isaackson being Prsent in Court And
referring himselfe for what encouragement they think fitt to give him
to Rebuild the same prmisses It is Ordered by this Court That he
duely paying his Rent reserved for the Hospitall well and substantially
new building all his Front houses within two years according to the
second rate of building by Act of Parliament. for rebuilding
the City of London and the back houses and warehouses as well and
substantially and of like value as they were before sd Fire and
leaveing the street and lanes next every New building 20 Foot broad
and upwards and fronted wth houses upon an Even rainge and Surrendering
his old Lease of the prmisses to be Cancelled shall have a New Lease
of the prmisses with an Addicon of 39 years to his former terme as
an Encouragement to Rebuild the prmisses well and substantially with
the like Covenants condicons and Provisoes as were in his former Lease
with a further Covenant to pay for the said 39 yeares so added to
his terme as above the addiconall Rent of £32 P annm over and above
the sd £58 all ready reserved and not to Lett the prmisses or any part
thereof to a Tallow Melter nor for a Read stack or Bavin Stack
unless Enclosed with Brick walls upon penalty of double his Rent
Yearly And if any difference shall arise betweene the Tenants and
the said Mr. Justice Isaacson the same by his consent shall be
