determined by the Governors or any twelve of them whereof the
President or Trear to be one And sealeing a Counterpart of the sd
lease with Bonds to performe Covenants where with he being acquainted
thankfully accepted thereof And promised to build seale do and performe
the same accordingly And that his Under tenants (if any) shall have
a proporconable allowance as he hath from the Governors And as
an acknowledgement of this favour gave two guyneas to the Poors Box
And doth consent that the Watering place for houses shall be in Comon for all persons
And that the same shall be repaired at the charge of the Tenants on each side the [..]

Also to this Court came Mrs Mary Barham Executrix of
of Mr. Francis Barham< no role > her late husband one of the Hosptls Tenants
at Wapping who had 6 houses burnt downe and a Crane by the sd
Fire And upon the Report of the said Comittee wch. being made of the
effect following Vizt That the same Prmisses have been twice burnt
downe That her Lease is dated the 21 day of July 1673 to Comence
from Lady day next ensueing for 61 years at £20-10s:00 P Annm so
there is 31 years to come And that £600 was Ensured upon them all
but none under leased and will cost above £16 [..] over and above he
money Ensured to build the same And the sd Mrs Barham being
prsent in Court And referring her selfe to the Court for what
Encouragement they think fitt to give her to Rebuild the same It
is Ordered by this Court That the duely paying her rent rent [..]
for the Hospll. and well and substantially new building wthin two years
according to the second rate of building appointed by Act of Parliamt.
for rebuilding of the City of London so many Front houses as were
burnt downe and spoyled by the said last Fire and the backhouses &
warehouses and Crane wth in the same time as well and substantially
and of the like value as they were before the sd Fire And leaveing
streets and Lanes next every new building 20 foot broad & upwards &
fronted with houses upon an Even rainge Setting back as the same
is now staked out and Surrendering her Old lease of the Prmisses to
be Cancelled shall have a New lease of the prmisses wth an Addicon
of 30 years to his former terme as an Increase thereof for her
Encouragemt. to build the same well and substantially with ye
like Covenants Condicons and Provisoes as were in her former
Lease and a Covenant not to lett the prmisses or any part thereof to
a Tallow Melter nor for a Read stacke or Bavin Stacke unless
Enclosed with Brick walls on penalty of paying double the Rent
yearly And If any difference shall aldse betweene the Tenants and [..]
the same by her consent shall be determined by the Governors or any
twelve of them whereof the President or Trear to be one and sealeing
Counterpart of the sd lease wth bonds to performe Covenants where with
the being made acquainted thankfully accepted thereof And promised to
build do and performe the same accordingly And that his Under tent if-
shall have a proporconable allowance as he hath from the Governorsandwth
further Covent. to pay for ye sd 30 years so added to her former terme as alow this
addicon all rent of £9-10s. P annm att & above the sd £20-10s P ann all ready reserved
and as an acknowledgemt of this favour gave 2 guyneas to the Poors Box:
