giving notice in writing to the said Church wardens & Overseers
of the poor or any one of them of the house of his abode in the said
parish according to the statute in that case made and provided
And that the said John Pryor< no role > was since Run away and his said
wife was likely to become chargeable to the said parish And that
it appeared to the said Justices upon the oath of the said Jane Pryer
That her said husband John Pryor< no role > was last legally settled in the
said Prcinct of Bridewell as being an Apprentice there wth one
Mr Geo: Marfeild< no role > a Weaver there and had gained no other legall
settlement since And upon Examinacon of severall Witnesses upon
oath in open Court in the Prsence of all the sd partys concerned and
hearing what was alleadged by Counsell on either side Itt
appearing to this Court That the sd John Pryor< no role > and his said wife
had no legall Settlemt in the said Hospll. and Prcinct of Bridewl.
This Court doth allow of the said Appeale and vacate and discharge
the said recited order of the 3d [..] two Justices And doth
Order that the sd. Jane Pryor be forthwith Removed and
Conveyed back from the said Hospll & prcinct of Bridewell to
the said parish of St Mary Mattfellon als Whitechappell And
that the be delivered to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor there or one of them wth a copy of this order) who are
hereby required to Receive the said Jane Pryor< no role > into their care
and provide for her as for other poor at the charge of the Inhabitant
of the said parish untill they can Free themselves of the charge
thereof by due course of Law.
