Upon the humble Petition of John Kinsey< no role > Steward of [..]
the Hospll. of Bridewell shewing that the usuall Allowance of this
Hospll to the prisonrs. is onely small Beere of Four Shillings a Barrell
and halfe a three halfe penny Leafe for Supper And that for about
Eight years last the Petr. had been obliged to pay four part of ye:
time after the Rate of £5:6d. and after ye. 6s:6d and for abt. two years
last 7s:6d: a Barrell for the same sort of Breeze his Predece Ford used to
pay but 4s. a Barrell And that your Petr. uses about 60 Brarrells or up [..]
a yeare And like wise for the same Numbr. of Yeares hath allowed Ears prisonr
halfe a two penney Loafe at nights wth. was but the same in Quantity
as halfe a Three halfe penny Loafe And that all manner of other
provissions and particularly Beefe Oat me ale and salt of wth he
likewise used a great Quantity have been see Excessive deare that
the Petr. has been at lest £2: a day out of pockett to Every Prisoner wth: [..]
had very much Impoverished him And therefore praying the
Consideracon of this Court in respect there of And that he may be
Reimbursed for the time past And likewise that during the Deares
