Also Upon the humble Petition of Robert Bernard< no role > Citizen and
Haberdasher of London who was brought up an Apprentice wth.
Fras. Browne< no role > weaver one of the Artsmasters of the Hosplls. of
Bridewell & Since made a Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon
of this Court and who is Sett up for himselfe in the trade of a
weaver (as he alleadgeth) at the House of one Mr. Sundergills
next door to the Skinners Armes in Skinner Street without
Byshopsgate For some part of Mr. Locks gift the better to Enable
him to Follow and carry on his said Trade It is Ordered by this
Court That Andrew Willaw< no role > Esqr . John Drigue< no role > Esqr . & Mr. Fras:
Smith
< no role > Grocer (Three of the Governors of these Hosplls) or any
two of them be desired to make Enquiry of the sd. Robt. Bernard< no role >
whether he be soe Sett up in his said Trade & of his hopefullnesse
therein & to make report thereof to the next Court
