Court Doth referr itt to Mr: Belland Capt: Sherrard (Two of the Governors of
these Hosplls.) To Inquire into the vallue of the sd. Security and to report their
Oppinion concerning the Same to the next Court

doe find That Robt. Cannon< no role > who Served his Apprenticeshipp with Benjamin
Harrison
< no role > weaver one of the Artsmasters of the Hospll. of Bridewell and Since
made a Freeman of this Citty by the approbacon of this Court Is sett up for
himselfe in the Trade of a weaver and That he hath taken part of a house
in Skynners Street and worketh on his own stocke and that he hath the
Report amongst his Neighbourhood of an honest sober man & a good
Husband It is Ordered by this Court That Mr: Trear Doe Give and pay unto
his Tenn pounds of the profitts of Mr: Locks gift the better to unable him to
carry on his Said Trade To be allowed Mr: Trear in his next Account

Beadles of Bridewell
Gratuityes Etc.


Also upon the humble peticon of the Four beadles and porters man of the
Hospls. of Bridewell for their usuall Gratuityes of Twenty Shillings a peice in respect
of the Halfe year ending at Lady day last and also for Twenty Shillings a peice
more for that all manner of provissions continue very deare and they have all
Familyes to maintaine This Court upon consideracon of the pr.misses Doth
think fitt and Soe order That Mr. Trear doe Give and pay unto than Twenty
Shillings a peice for their usuall Gratuityesofand alsoe for this halfe yeare.
Twenty Shillings a peice more In respect of the Dearness of all manner of
provissions To be allowed Mr: Trear in his next acct.
