This set is in the group(s): GarrowsClients . was indicted for that he, together with twenty other persons and more, did, unlawfully, riotously, and tumultuously, assemble, on the 2d of June , to the disturbance of the publick peace, and did begin to demolish and pull down the dwelling house of Joseph Francis Lavana proceedingsvictim , commonly called Count Haslang , against the form of the statute, &c.

(The counsel for the crown informed the court that they had but one witness whose testimoney could affect the prisoner, and that witness's credit having been impeached on a former trial, they would not produce him in support of this indictment.)
