Ann Gill , alias Elizabeth, Wife of William Whitehurst < no role > proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. James Westminster , was indicted for that whereas Jeremiah Garraway < no role > and Thomas Sly < no role > , were the last Sessions convicted of stealing a Silver Salver, value 4 l. a Silver Tankard, value 6 l. 2 Silver Salts, value 20 s. and other Plate, in the Dwelling-house of Robert Hoe < no role > , the 28th of April last, and have since been transported. The Prisoner, the said Plate did receive, knowing it to be stolen . Jonathan Wild < no role > This name instance is in set 3033. depos'd, that one Stephen Gardiner < no role > came to him and did discover that Garraway, Sly, and himself committed that Robbery; and that they carried the Plate to the Prisoner, who sold it for them. But Stephen Gardiner being now not to be found, the Evidence not being sufficient to convict the Prisoner, she was acquitted .
