This Informt. being on his Oath says that he

did between the house of ten & eleven of the
clock last night being the 3 inst: Decembr: digup the
ground by Mr. Burrough door in the Strand
in the
parish of St. Martin in the fields
with our intention
to steal leade or pipes therein laid & accordingly
this Informt. John Wood< no role >

when the said ground was day
open did Feloniously steal & take away a large
quantity of a leaden pipe therein laid which
afterwards was put into a cart for that purpose
brought there to convey said stolen lead away
but this Informt. says he can't tell by whose
orders the said cart was brought
