I have been with the men before the
Justice but the lead being carried off by the two
Men who escaped he will not comitt them without
somebodys swearing that lead has been feloniously
stolen & that it with propertyswearing to the property
the only way therefore will before Smith or Baker to
be sent to me to view the trench from whence to as
taken, the Watchman swears to srving them cutt
lead & putt it in a Cart but the Ck of the Waterwork
says he sett them to work to remove some wooden
Pipes belonging to this Compt therefore without
further Evidence they will be discharged

The Justice has
appointed 5 oClock
