Who being upon Oath severally say and first
the said Thomas Field< no role >
for himself says that
this Evening between five and six o'Clock the
persons now present who calls herself Mary
Talbott< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.
came into his Masters Shop and asked for
a quarter of a Yard of Linen at fourteen pence
per Yard which kind of Linen he shewed her
That he out her a quarter of a Yard of said Cloth
and she paid him three pence half penny for
the same but that the Remnant of printed Callico
now produced by the said John Rushton< no role >
he did
not show her nor did he sell it to her And the
said John Rushton< no role >
for himself says that
upon his coming into the Shop at this time he
saw the said Mary Talbott< no role > This name instance is in set 1315.
conceal the said
Remnant of printed Callico under her Arm
and cover it with her Apron that upon enquiring
in the Shop whether she had purchased the said
Callico and finding she had not purchased it he
followed her and of the Shop and secured her
with the Callico under her Arm
