The Information of William Payne< no role > This name instance is in set 2582. of the
Parish of St. Dunstan's in the West Carpenter
Taken before me this 10th. day of March 1761

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday the 2d. of March
Inst. he went by the direction of John Fielding< no role > Esqr . to the House
of Ann King< no role > late of Leicesterfields Deceased and who was then
said to be Murdered by one Theodore Gardelles< no role > in Order to
Search for the Body of the said Deceased, says upon Searching
one of the Bogg House belonging to the aforesaid House
he found the Intrails of a Human Body Vizt. the Heart part
of the Liver the Lights Kidney Etc and likewise upon
a further Search he this Informt. foundin theconcealed in
the Cock-Loft of the said House several Pieces of Human Flesh
together with several Bones among which was a knife now produced and farther says that he also found
among the Ashes in the Garret Chimney of the said House
severalHouseBones partly burnt, and this Informant
farther saith that on the Wednesday following he in Company
with one Mrs. Newness Sister to the Deceased Searched the
Drawers Trunk Etc belonging to the said Gardelle where they
found one Shift several pair of Stockings and other things
which he has been informed and verily believes were the
property of the said Ann King< no role > Deceased
