deced maketh oath that her Said late husband has
informed her That he was born in the North of Ireland
And this Depont. doth not know nor was ever informd
nor Can in any manner setforth whether he ever did
any Act to gain a settlement in any Part of Great
Britain And this Depont. Saith that divers Years
Ago & when a single woman she was hired by; & lived as
a hired servant by the Year, at the yearly Wages of four
Pound with one Richard Rook< no role > who kept the sign
of the Wheat Sheaf & Star in New Gravel Lane in
the Parish of St. Paul Shadwell in the said County of
Middlesex & Continues in such service in the said
Parish for a year & upwards & by Means thereof as
She is advised gained a legal settlement there And
this Deponent Saith that she has not since lived as a
hired servant for a year nor done any Act to her knowledge
or belief to gain a settlement subquent to her Said
servitude Save and Except what she might gain or
Acquire by her Marriage with her Said late husband
whose Place of settlement is altogether Unknown to her
