Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House dated the 6th. indent
as follows Vizt.At this Comittee the Petition of

read (which was referred to them Order of Court 13th. of October last
setting forthThat he holds under the Governors a Farm called Cliffs End
Farm in the parish of St. Lawrence
in the Isle of Thanet near Ramsgate
in Kent at the yearly Rent £80. the Lease whereof hath been sometime
expiredThat on the 27th of August 1742. the Comee viewed the Farm
& found the same in good Order and in regard the Petr had been Tenant
to the Governors near 26 Yearsprayed the Govrs. to grant him a now
Lease for Twenty one years to commence from Michas 1742. at the
same rent & with the usual Covenants This Comittee having considered
the said Petition are of Opinion to grant him a new Lease of the said
premisses for 21 years from Micts 1742.All which never the less is
submitted to the Judgment of the CourtAnd it is ordered that this
Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court having duly
weighed and considered the said Report doth confirm the same.
