The Clerk of these Hosplls. Giveing this Court an Account That
pursueant to an Order of last Court he had been to view and
make Enquiry concerning the houses neare the Horseferry late
John Good< no role > childs The Residue of a Lease whereof for Eight yeares and
an halfe to come would belong to ye Estate of Mr Land lately deced & consequently
to the Hospll. of Bridewell by vertue of his residuary Devise That the sd
houses were soe ruinous and out of repair soe ill tenanted & in
soe ill a Condiccon and Circumstances That according to the best of
his Judgemt. it would not be for the sd Hospll. benefit to meddle therewth:
Mr. Thomson Mr. Owting & Mr. Marsh (There of the Governrs of these
Hospll. liveing at that part of the Towne) Are Desired alsoe to view
the same Houses & to Report their opinions thereof to the next
Court.
