John Overlow proceedingsdefend , of Nortonfolgate , was indicted for stealing a Camblet Coat and Wastcoat , the Goods of John Humble proceedingsvictim on the 14th of March last. It appear'd that the Cloaths having been clean'd, were hung out dry and a Neighbour's Servant swore he saw the Prisoner take them away; but he bringing Witness that he was at another Place when the Fact was done, was acquitted .
