| Examination Text | Rebecca Smith aged 37 upon her Oath saith that she is the Wife of George Thurlwell Smith ( gone Abroad ) to whom she was Married that St Martins Church the 28th April 7083 that her said Husband served Seven Years under Indenture of Apprenticeship to Henry Flack in Craven Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields Stay maker , which expired November 9th 1782 since which her said Husband hath not rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary , nor Parochial taxes not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she hath Three Children living by her said Husband to wit Rebecca Born Jany 29th/86 Ruth born December 7th/88 & Eleanor born February 9th/92. Sworn the 6th day of May 1794 before me John Collick Rebeckah Smith. |
