| Examination Text | The Examination of Mary wife of Francis Coe Breeches Maker lodging at Mr Levy's in Church Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this 16th Day of July 1781. This Examinant on her oath saith that she very well knows Thomas Wicksted aged five years the ninth of September last, that the said Thomas was born at the house of Mr Taylor a Shoemaker in James Street by Hedge Lane as she this examinant was at the birth of the said child [sic], that the Mother of the said John, Elizabeth Wicksteed, died the 25th day of November last, that the said Elizabeth Wicksteed never was married to this Examinant's knowledge.
