Examination Text | Mary Weldon aged about 39 years lodging at No.8 in Langley Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Hennessy a Victualler at the sign of the Angel and Crown the corner of New Street in St Martin's Lane in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 15 months all at one Time at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 10 years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 21st Day of June 1781 before Jacob Fletcher. |
