Examination TextJohn Pricket aged 55 Years upon his Oath saith that he was bound by an Indenture for Seven Years to Benjamin Coster of Langley Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster & served her said Master for the space of ffive Years & upwards when his said Master Died that he this Examinant was then assigned over to Mr Barrington Wood of that part of Castle Street which is in the said Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields Wheelwright & there served the whole of the said Term of Years out which expired about 34 Years ago since which she hath not rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or Parochial Taxes been a Yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months nor done any Act whereby to acquire a subsequent Settlement. Sworn this11th Day of February 1789 before Edw Read John Pickett
