This Indenture Witnesseth That Jeremiah Brodgate< no role > & John Smith< no role > Church
Wardens Robt Marriott Ralph Alport< no role > Wm. Till< no role > & Wm. Fisher< no role > overseers of the poore of the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx with the Assent of Albine Chare & Hugh
Chamberline Esqr. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx & Citty & liberty of Westmr.
according to the statute in that case made & pvided Have putt Mary Horeman< no role > Apprentice to
Samer Goulton< no role > of the parish of St Clemt. Danes aforesaid victualler & with him after the
manner of an Apprentice to dwell & serve from the day of the date hereof unto the full
end & terme of seven yeare from thence next ensueing & fully to be compleate & ended
During all which said terme wee the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poore with the
Assent aforesaid doe order & appoint the said Mary Boreman< no role > well & faithfully shall
Serve his secretts keepe his comandamts. lawfull & honest every where Shall gladly doe
hurt to her said Master shee shall doe or consent to le done of others but that shere
to her power shall prsent the same or else from time to time admonish him there of the
Goods of her Master shoe shall not wast nor them to any body lend without his consent
neither from his service by day or night shall not absent her buissnesse there to be done att
ordr due or any other unlawful game shee shall not play whereby her Master
may receive any & prjudice Fornicacon shee shall not comitt matrimony dureing the
said terme shee shall not contr [..] it but in all thing or Sagood & faithfull Servant
ought to doe shall behave [..] her said Master & all his dureing
the said terme And the saint Johnt. Goulton shall teach & instruct his
soul Apprentice or [..] her to be taught & [..] ye
best that he may or [..] Ann shall give & [..] order for his said Apprentice
sufficient meate drink washing lodging Apparell Linnen & all other
necessarys [..] Conversion for such an Apprentice dureing the
souil terme [..] for the true performance in all the arlirle in forume
Aforesaid to be kept the saint paris to these prsent Indentures bind them
solves eath to other by the point Inwitnesse whereas [..] parties to
these prsent Indentures Interchangeably have sett their hands & seales the
