The Condicon of this Obligacon is such yt whereas the Churchwardens above
named Hugh Mills< no role > Francis Morlye< no role > Wm Lawrence< no role > & John Seywell< no role > Overseeres
of the poore of the Parish of St Clement Danes with thassent of two
Justices of the peace according to a Statute in that case made and provided
have putt [..] John Smith< no role > Apprentice to Thomas Tory and have given
with the said Apprentice ye Sume of three pounds If therefore the
above bound on Thomas Tory< no role > & Wm Creach< no role > or eyther of ym
or eyther of theire heires Executors. or Admrs. Doe well and sufficiently provide
for keepe and maintaine the said John Smith< no role > in by and wth all & all
manner of needefull and necessary meate Drinke, washing Lodgeing
Apparrell Linnen and all other necessarys meete & convenient for such
an Apprentice dureing the said terme of Eight yeares And alsoe well
and sufficiently save defend keepe harmelesse and indempnified the
said Churchwardens and Overseeres of the poore of the said parish
and theire Successors: for the time being and all the Inhabitants of
the said parish which now are and here after shall be and every
of them off and from the Charge of keepeing & maintaineng the sd
Apprentice dureing the terme aforesaid And of and from all Accon &
Accon Sniles & taxacons whatsoever which the said parishoners of St
Clement Danes or any of them shall or may susteine incurre or be putt
unto for or in respect of the said Apprentice in any manner of wise
them this Obligacon to be voyd & of none effort or else to be &
remaine in full force power & virtue.
