Resolved and Ordered That in regard the house which is
Allotted for the Warden of the Dutchy Liberty to live in is
Very ruinous and much out of repaire That the Surveyors of the
Dutchy Liberty be Empowred to repaire the Same

Mr. Emmerton appeared to Shew cause why he
refused to pay the Rate Assessed upon him for and fowds. the Necessary
releife of the Poor for the halfe Yeare due and Ending at Michas
last And made Oath that he paid but £35, a Yeare and was
Rated at £40, a Yeare and prayed to be rated at that rent &
not at the Rent of £40, a Yeare

Ordered that Mr. Emmerton be Rated after the
Yearly Rent of £35.

Widw . Beach appeared to Shew Cause as above
and was Ordered to be Rated & pay after the Yearly rent of £16

Mr. Kiteson appeared to Shew Cause as above being
rated after ye rate of £25 a Yeare And was Ordered to be rated as
he Usually was (Vizt.) aftr. the rate of £16.

Mr. Cannell appeared to Shew Cause as above
Alledged that the Parish was in rebred to him when he was one
of the Overseers of the Poor by an Over paymt. made by him to them
in makeing up the accot. in the Sume of £8 and that he was
Willing to reimburse himselfe that sume by not paying the
poors Rate Audit was Ordered That the two Wards Colleccen' by
him when he was One of the Overseers Shd. be insperted and
referred to Mr. Benjn. Faulkner< no role > and Mr. Thos. Bedwell< no role > to Inspect
the Same and make there report to this Board and Mr. Cannell
is to Scand and abide by the report made by them
