A Motion made and the Question put whether
the Sum of Ten Shillings a price be Allowed the Scavengers
for the Year 1747 for their Expences in Collecting the
Rate and that it be recommended to the Justices of the
Peace to Allow the same in their Account
Carried in the Affirmative Nem Con
Resolved and this Board (as far as in them lye)
Do consent and Agree that the Scavengers may be
Allowed Ten Shillings a price for their Expences in
Collecting the Rate and this Board do Recommend
it to the Justices of the peace to Consent to Allow the
same in Passing their Accounts
Resolved and Agreed that Notice be given in the
Church on Sunday next that a Vestry will be held on
Thursday the 9th. Instt. at 4 of the Clock in the
afternoon to Consider of a Rate for Cleansing the
Streets for this present Year 1748 and to Consider
abt. the Paymt. of a Debt Claim'd by Mr. Gibbs yd Surveyor
to be due to him from this Parish for Surveying the
Steeple in the Year 1719
