Bench be moved agt. them for Refusing

The Vestry Clerk reporting to this Board that he had sevl.
times made Application to Mr. Justice Lane to Confirm
the Scavengers Nominated for this prest. Year in their
Office which the sd. Mr. Lane refused, therefore
This Board desires the Church wardens Overseers &
Vestry Clerk to Wait upon Mr. Justice Lane & the sevl.
Justices residing in this Parish and Request them
as from this Board to Confirm the Scavengers nominate
for the Year now Ensueing and in case of Refusal,

It is Resolved and Agreed that the Court of Kings
Bench be moved agt. them for refusing to Confirm the
sd. Officers & that the Costs of such Application be pd.
by the Church wardens & allowed them in their Accot.

Resolved & Agreed that the Church wardens Summon
a Vestry to meet on Thursday the 7th. Instt. at 4 in the
Afternoon when they will Nominate 10 or 12
Substantial Inhabitants and householders of this
Parish to be Trustees of the Holborn Estate
