Read & Auditted the Churchwardens Accts. for the Month of
June last amounting to the Sum of£7..19..8
At the same time Read & Auditted the Overseers Accounts for
the same Month amounting to the Sum of-£375..5..4
Resolved and Agreed that the 2d. Rate for the Necessary
Relief of the Poor be at 6d. in the Pound Rents and that the
Vestry Clerk Rate the Books accordingly
Read & Confirmed the Mins. of Assistants of the 13th. June last
-And there being in the Lre of Dr. Berkeley upon the Subject
of the Prayers at the Workhouse
these Words "If the Parish do
not approve of Mr. Scott for this Service" It was moved though
anor. Person was appointed to that Duty yet to Obviate
any Idea of disapprobation of the Revd. Mr. Scott that the
Thanks of this Vestry in behalf of the Parish at large be given
to Mr. Scott for his Attention and Services during the Time
he has held the Curacy of this Parish which being Considered Seconded
It was carried unanimously in
the Affirmative
