Examined adjusted and signed the Accounts of the Overseers of
the Poor for the Year 1781 & the Ball in hand being 12..11..8
was paid to the Present Overseers of the Poor who gave a
Receipt for the same at the Foot of the said Account

N B Notwithstanding the above Ball of 12..11..8 was
this Day turned Over to the present Overseers Get it Appears
that there is due & Owing to different Trademen as by Bills
delivered in amounting to £650 & upwards.

Examined adjusted and signed the Watch Account for the Year
1781 when there appeared a Ball in the Collectors hands amount
to the Sum of£62..4..0

At the same time signed the Watch Rate for the present Year
at 4d. in the Pound Rents.

A Motion made by Mr. George and Seconded by Mr. Robinson
whr. Mr. Shreen the Collector of the Poor Rates shod. be allowed 3d in
the Pounds for Collecting the same & on the Question being put It
was Carried in the Affirmative-Nemine Contradecente

At the same time it was unanimously resolved & Agreed
that a present of 10 Guineas shod. be made to Mr. Shreen for
his Extraordinary Trouble in Collecting the last Years Poor Rate
instead of being allowed 3d in the Pound the same as Mr. George was
allowed and that the Churchwarden Agreeing thereto on being allowed
the same in his Accounts It was Ordered Accordingly
