Vestry met pursuant to Notice given in the Church on Sunday on
Sunday last.

Examined adjusted and Signed the Collector of the Watch Account
for the Year 1779 when their Appeared to be a Ballance in his hands
of£121..10..3
At the same time Passed and Signed the late Overseers for the
Year 1779 when there Appeared a Ballance in hand of £34..1..2
which was paid to the present Overseers who gave a Receipt for the
at the Foot of the said Account.
Mr. George Applying to this Vestry to have the same Sum
Allowed him for Collecting the Watch Rate and paying the Watchmen
the same as the it had been at 4d/Rate having had much more
Trouble therein Mr. George was desired to withdraw and the
matter being taken into Consideration The Vestry Agreed thereto
on Condition that the said Mr. George do Collect the Rate and
pay the Watchmen as heretofore shod. the Rate on any future
Year Exceed a 4d/Rate and on Mr. George being Called in & the
proposals read to him he acquiesced therein.
