Read and Auditted the Churchwardens Accounts for
the Month of January 1780 Amounting to the Sum of £14..14..0
At the same time Read and Auditted the Accounts of the
Overseers
for the same Month amounting to the Sum of £241..2s..5d.
A Motion made by Mr. Rainforth and Seconded by Mr.
Anderson and the Question put whither a Notice shod. be given in
Church on Sunday next to take into Consideration whither it wod. be
of Utility to have Straw or other litter laid down Every Sunday Morning
in Order to prevent the Noise of Coaches during Divine Service and
to be taken away the Monday Morning before the Opening of the
Shops the same was Carried in the Affirmative-Nem Con.
Resolved that the Church Yard be swept every Morning
