Resolved and agreed that the first Rate for the Necessary
relief of the Poor be at 6d/in the Pound Rents and that the
Vestry Clerk Rate the Books Accordingly
A Motion made by Mr. Wm- Williams< no role >
and Seconded by Mr.
Figg and the Question put whether a Collector shod. be
appointed to Collect the Poors Rate on giving Security &
from time to time as the same shod- be Collected that he
do pay the same into the Overseers Hands but that Notice
be given in Church for that purpose & that this Vestry do
meet on Friday Sennett next for such Choice at 11 oClock
in the forenoon
Mr. Churchwdn- Jones having Voluntarily offered to lend
the Overseers £100 towards paying off the Outstanding
Debts incurred in this Parish he has the thanks of this
Parish for such his offer but in case he shod- stand in
need thereof that the Overseers do repay the same
to the said Mr. Jones
Ordered that a Dozen or Two of Chairs be provided
at the Discretion of Mr. Chwdn- Jones for the use of the
Vestry Rooms of this Parish
