A special Meeting being desired of the Committee for opposing
Lincoln's Inn Bill , and other Gentlemen of the Law Inhabitants of
this Parish, after much Debate it was resolved to wait upon Mr. Lavis
the Councell employ'd by the Committee to see if what was done in
that Business was right, & proper, he on attendg. him the next Day approved of
