Mr. Churchwarden Wallis reported to this Vestry that
Several of the Inhabitants of this Parish have not
paid and still refuse to pay their Church Rate.
Upon which a Motion was made and the Question
put whether the Churchwardens cause the said several
Defaulters on said Rate to be Cited into the Commons.

in the Affirmative Nem Con
Resolved that the said several Defaulters on said
Rate be Cited into the Commons pursuant to the
above Motion.
Resolved Nem:Con: that in case any Action or Actions
shall be brought against the Churchwardens or any other
Person or Persons concerned in Citing the said Defaulters
into the Commons or any other consequences Attending
such Citation that the same be Defended by the Church
Wardens and the Expence allowed them in their
Account.
