who had been Placed at Nurse Libertys at
Enfield
by the Officers of this Parish had been
Very improperly Treated by

the Husband of the Nurse-That the Overs

had taken an Examination from the Child
and also had been down to Enfield
& examined
the other Children that were at Nurse Libertys
at the time the Child was there, and upon suc

Examination found her Account Corroborated.
The Overseers therefore Requested the
Advice and direction of this Vestry in what
manner they were to Act.
The Matter being considered
Ordered-That an Indictment be preferred
against John Liberty< no role >
for an Assault &c upon
Ann Arnot Baynes the Child of Ann Arnot< no role >
Baynes
and that the Vestry Clerk do immediately
take the necessary Steps.
