That The Revd. Mr. Gurney, the Rector,
had made application respecting the quarter's salary
due to the Chaplin of the Workhouse Where upon the ap-
pointment of a Gentleman to that Office was taken into
consideration and the Board being informed by the Overseers,
present of their having already appointed Mr. Gurney there to,
but the Appointment not appearing to have been made at
any public Meeting, and as such not in due form, the father
appointment was taken into consideration but the full considera-
-tion thereof adjourned.
