Having made enquiry into the circumstances of
her escape and taken them into consideration
Ordered
That she be a excused, in order to her
apprehension (but subject to the opinion of the Veshy- Clerk)
Mr. Churchwarden Robinson reported an
application from Mr. Ireland , (late of Essex Street
, Baker,
and fermerly Churchwarden of this Parish) for relief
The same was taken into consideration- but being
adjourned for future consideration, no resolution was
entered into.
The Table beer for the use of the House
being complained of- it was examined into- when
being found of very Inferior quality Messrs. Ford & Tucker
of Stanhope Street, the Brewers, were sent to, whereupon
Mr. Tucker of that House, attended, and alledged
that they could not afford better at the price of twelve
Shillings, per Barrel.
Resolved
That the price infuture, should be
fourteen Shillings a Barrel, during the Ruler and
fifteen Shillings during the Summer Season viz. from
Lady- day to Michaelmas at fifteen Shillings per
Barrel of 36 Gallons and from Michaelmas to Lady.
Day at fourtien Shillings per Barrel (from the present time
to much Michaelmas to be at fifteen Shillings).
