This being a Meeting to receive Proposals
for supplying the Poor in the Workhouse with Coals
Meat, Butter and Cheese for twelve Months from
the 24th. Inst:

The following Proposals for Coals were received
and read

Mr. Matthew Hodgsen< no role > proposed serving
with "fifty Chaldron of Pontop Coals at fifty two Shillings
"per Chaldron and the twenty of good Housekeepers Coals
"at fifty four Shillings per Chaldron delivered in Bushell
"at the respective Houses of the Poor".

Mr. Thomas English< no role > proposed serving "with
"50 Cha. Pontop Coals at fifty Shillings per Chaldron
"free of all expences and 20 Chaldron Housekeepers
"Coals at 56 Shillings per Chaldron according to" "Propose
