Edward Hadfield< no role > of No. 8 Lambeth Walk Brother to the
late Mrs.. Hark who was murdered in Clements Lane applied
to take her Child out of the House

The same being considered It was resolved That
an Enquiry be made into his Character and if favourable that
the Child be delivered to him

Mr. Jeans reported that Mr Alcock had let a
Mrs. Price out of the House this Day he being express by ordered
to the Contrary

Mr. Alcock being called in sayed while
his Back was turned she sliped out - He was
admonished to be more careful in future otherwise he
would be discharged Ordered that Mrs. Costello leave the Liberty of the Door.
