"Rose to stand all Tisques, fined all Materials, and take
"all away, and to pay one Quarter under anothers"
were read, and upon Motion made, Ordered to
be reported to Vestry

The Reading of Prayers in the Workhouse
having been for some time past much neglected, Such Neglect
was taken into Consideration by this Board, and it was -
thereupon Ordered That Mr. Harrison the Parish Clerk
be Summoned, by the Vestry Clerk, to attend at the next
Public Vestry to carry such Message to Mr. Popham
as the Gentlemen of Vestry should think proper
to send upon the Occasion.

to Notice.

This being a Meeting to Receive the Proposals of
Such Persons (Inhabitants of this Parish) as were
Shoemakers and willing to contract with the -
Churchwardens and Overseers for Supplying the
Workhouse with Shoes - and also such other -
Poor as the Churchwardens and Overseers shod.
Direct, a great Number of Proposals were Read
when Messrs. Stunt Orton Carter & Larwances
