confirmed

A Bill from Charles Hutchins< no role > the Scavenger One
Quarter to Lady day last £25:1s.0d another from
William Meredith< no role > for Repair of the Carriage way
of the Strand by Contract £24:13s:4d and for other
Business £30:16s.10d together £55:10s:2d and another from
Richard Buddle< no role > the Mason for work done to the
same time amounting to £39:4s:11d being severally
read and the Inspector examined thereto, three of the
Committed signed Drafts on the Banker payable to
the said respective Persons or Bearer for the amount
of such their Bills

Resolved that the Contracting for the Scavenger's
Work, as also for keeping the Strand in Repair
be adjourned to Thursday next precisely at Six
o Clock
