It is Ordered that
Clerk do forthwith Cause an Advertizemt. to the following Effect to be
Incerted in one of the Daily Papers
Saint Clement Danes
5th. June 1771
The Committee for paving Etc. hereby given Notice that they will Meeting
the Vestry Room of this Parish on Monday the twenty fourth Day of June
Inst. at four. o Clock in the afternoon to receive proposals and Contract for
taking up the Old paving in the Carriage way of Serle Street
and so much of
Carey Street
as Leads from the End of Serle Street
to the Rolls Liberty
Street And Carting away the Old Stones to Milford Lane or such other
as the Committee shall Direct to be paid in proportion for a greater [..]
Distance And for new paving the said Streets with Square Guernsey
Aberdeen Granite or any other Stone of a Hard & Durable Substances
less than 9 Inches Deep nor wider than 5 Inches at the Top The 1 bed at
Bottom of such Stones not less than four fifths of the Superficies of the Top
