(to wit) Ann Nash< no role > aged eighteen years
and upwards upon Oath Saith that she
never was married, that shenevlived as an
hired yearly Servant with Mr. Hershaw in Clements
Inn passage for thirteen Months at the yearly Wages
of Forty shillings, that she was paid one years Wages
only, and the last quarter's payment she reced about
a Month previous to her departure, that She quitted
that [..] Service aboutfour y or fiveSix or Seven Months ago
and hath never obtained any subsequent legal
settlement as she best knows and believes And this
Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath further saith
that she is now pregnant with a Child or Children which
is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards & to
become chargeable to the said parish of St. Clement
Danes when Born, And thatSmith a
Hair Dresser who lives in Houghton Street in the said
parish, and keeps a Shop there, is the only real and
true father of such Child or Children wherewith she
is so pregnant as aforesaid he having first had
Carnal knowledge of this Deponent's Body in or
about the Month of October last andat severalonce
since few timessince atsome orwhen or at one of which times he
did beget the Said Child or Children wherewith she
[..] is pregnant, as aforesaid on this Deponent's Body And
