(to wit) Eleanor Edwards< no role > Sig Singlewoman
Aged twenty one years & upwards Upon Oath
Saith that she never was Married, that she lived
as an hired Yearly Servant with Mr Comer Baker
in little Stanhope Street May Fair in the parish
of St George Hanover Square in the Liberty of
Westminster and County of Middlesex for 3 Years,
four pounds P Annum, that she left that Service
about 5 or 6 Years ago, and since hath not obtained
any Subsequent legal Settlement And this Deponent
further saith [..] upon her Oath that she was
delivered on the Sixth day of this Instant December
(at Mr. Tanners GG House or Apartment in Milford Lane in the parish of
St Clement Danes in the said County & Liberty) of a
Female Bastard Child which was on the 26th Instant
Christened Frances Edwards< no role > at the Church of the sd
parish of St. Clement Danes GG And that the said Child hath become chargeable to the And that William Willis< no role >
[..] now Head Clerk at the Crown & Anchor in the
Strand in the said parish of St Clement Danes is
the only real and true Father of such Child of which
she was so delivered, he having had Carnal Knowledge
of this Deponents Body sometime in the Month of
GG March or April last and at other times since at some or only
which times he did beget the said Child thereon
And this Deponent further upon her Oath saith that
no one beside the said William Willis< no role > is the real
true father thereofAnd
