twenty years & upwds. Upon her Oath saith
that on the Seventh day of [..] December Instant she was
delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the
Workhouse belonging to this parish and which is now
chargeable to the said parish of St Clement Danes
And this Deponent saith that one Joseph Brassing< no role >
an Apprentice to Mr Thomas Huxley< no role > of fountain
Court in the parish of St Clement Danes is the only
Real & true father thereof he having Carnal knowledge
of this Deponents Body& begottensometime in the
Month of March last & at several times since at some
or one of which times he did beget the said Child of
which she was so delivered as aforesaid thereon And
this Deponent further saith that no other person [..]
except & besides the said JosephJoseph Brassington< no role >
hath everhadhad Carnal Knowledge of this
Deponent's Body and thatbeshe is now & hath been
ever since the fifth day of December Instant
Maintained in the said Workhouse of the parish of
St Clement Danes at the Sole Expence of the Said
parish
